Tom and I returned home to one excited 5 year old boy and thousands of letters from people around the Pacific Northwest who read the Seattle Times story and saw the news broadcasts on NBC Nightly News and King 5 TV, our local NBC station. The letters were beautifully written and very uplifting. We were deeply touched by the outpouring of support, donations and offers of help. Many people asked if any of our kids could be adopted. In fact we received over 700 letters from individuals and families offering to adopt. Our job now will be to make this dream come true!
